Spanish tiles for your wall
Are you looking for a unique Spanish wall tile? We have one of the largest ranges in the Netherlands. We will continue to supplement this collection with the latest trends so that your interior is completely up-to-date.
Or would you rather go for a timeless wall tile for your toilet or kitchen? There is a lot of choice: rectangular, metro or hexagon shapes in every color you can think of! All our Spanish tiles come from Spain where they are produced in different factories. Partly by hand and partly by machine. The Spanish wall tile is known for its hand shape, so the tile is not tight and completely straight, but the edges are playful and the glaze is sometimes crackle and sometimes unprocessed.
Hand shape, sleek or worked. Everything is possible with the Spanish wall tile
The Spanish tile is a ceramic tile that can have different finishes. Glazed and therefore glossy in high gloss or satin, 3D with a relief on the tile for a 3D effect, sleek and without gloss for a matte effect or a combination of these options. The way in which some of the Spanish tiles are glazed can cause hairline cracks, also called craquelure. This is part of the type of tiles and can even only arise when you place the tiles. Some wall tiles can also be used on the floor. This depends on the thickness of the tile and the type of glaze that has been used. These tiles can be found at Spanish floor tile. Unfortunately, the Spanish tile is not frost-resistant and can therefore not be placed outside.
Spanish shapes and colors
When you think of Spanish wall tiles you think of the Azulejos. You see the tile everywhere in Spain, with the hand shape and the most beautiful colors. Azulejos actually just means "tile". But in addition to this tile, we have many more beautiful things for on the wall. This way you have the same beautiful colors in other sizes. We still have the Cabrera, Manual and Ibiza. All in the same colors but in a different format, each with its own unique possibilities. Think of herringbone, stones, straight up or lying down. Everything is possible! Some colors come with crackle, others have a matte finish and have earthy and terracotta colours. In addition to the handmade, we also have the sleek graphic shapes. The canto, for example, is unique in its form. At Designtegels one thing is certain and that there is something for every style. Whether you like rural, sleek, modern or bohemian. We have a tile for every interior!
Our Azulejos tiles have the classic 10 by 10 cm format. Isn't that quite what you're looking for? Then you might like the Cabrera, with their size of 7.5 by 30 cm. In addition, there are many more formats so that it fits perfectly into your interior. With up to 100 different colors in our showrooms, there is a lot of choice. We also have different finishes such as matt, facet, glossy or crackle with these Spanish tiles.
