Marble, a sustainable product

Marble a sustainable product? Yes, it is! Not only in the production process (it is processed without synthetic additives) but also the product itself originated in nature. Large slabs of marble are extracted from underground caves, and this product is processed into plates for countertops, for example. The marble that remains is processed into tiles, from large format to the smallest pieces that are processed in the mosaic. Bij dit proces wordt dus alles gebruikt, tot aan de kleinste korrel! Also, the stone and marble last a lifetime and the tiles only get more beautiful over time, it becomes alive and the colour gets deeper. Perfect for your home or garden!

Colours from nature

The colours of marble are created and determined by nature. Depending on where it comes from, the colour can vary, be whiter or have a lot of markings. The purer it is, the more expensive and rare it is. We love colour variation and different shades in our products. This makes the product unique, playful and lively. We offer various marble colours that are always available. From the black Toros Black to the white Dolomit. Our most popular colour is Bottocino, a cream-coloured tile that can vary from light cream to dark. We also have colours like Caramel, Red Travertine, Efes Mustard or Malachite Green. Whether this colour will still be present in the next mountain is not clear. This ensures that you have a real limited edition in your home!

Various marble applications

Marble Mosaic and Bricks can be used in any room. Both on the floor and on the wall, the tiles will provide a real eye-catcher. Think of your bathroom, kitchen, hall, toilet or in shops. The possibilities are endless! This tile will also do beautifully outdoors! As the tile remains a natural stone, it is important to be careful with acids, as these can react with the lime that is present in natural stone and cause stains. Maintain with soft (durable) maintenance products such as green soap.

At Designtegels we sell marble in different sizes and shapes. The Mosaic is a popular product, which is enormously versatile. Small tiles are glued on a mat in different sizes and shapes, in terms of colour and shape the options are endless! The Bricks are fairly new in our collection, widely applicable and therefore extremely popular.
