The Breeze 18 is a decorative concrete block with an openwork pattern. This decorative element has a size of 19 x 19 cm and is 6 cm thick. The block adds a playful and stylish accent while allowing light and air to pass through. This makes the Breeze ideal for creating an atmospheric partition, both indoors and outdoors. Use the Breeze, for example, as a room divider, decorative garden wall or open partition on a terrace. By combining different patterns and colours, you can create a wall that perfectly suits your style and space. The blocks are made of concrete/cement and have a matte finish with a characteristic open structure.

Good to know

Breeze blocks are treated at the factory to provide extra protection against water, mould and moss. However, concrete is naturally a porous material and can therefore never be completely waterproof. When used outdoors, the blocks may gradually change in appearance due to moisture, sunlight and other weather conditions. For example, efflorescence may occur. This is a natural phenomenon in cement-based products and does not affect the quality of the block. Small variations in size, colour, texture and surface may also occur. Breeze blocks are not rectified or dimensionally consistent. Therefore, please allow for small dimensional variations between individual blocks during installation. These natural variations are part of the character of decorative concrete. The blocks are suitable for outdoor use and are both frost- and heat-resistant.

Installation of Breeze Blocks

For a beautiful and durable result, it is important to install the blocks on a level, stable and sufficiently load-bearing surface. When determining the joint width, please take into account that the blocks are not dimensionally consistent. Small differences in size can be accommodated through the joints during installation. For outdoor applications, factors such as the foundation, drainage and wind load must be taken into account. Additional reinforcement, structural support or anchoring may be necessary, particularly for higher, longer or freestanding walls. Make sure that water can drain away properly and, where possible, prevent the bottom blocks from being exposed to standing water for extended periods. For larger structures or if you are unsure about the stability of the wall, we recommend having the installation assessed or carried out by a professional.

Thanks to its openwork design, the Breeze is suitable for all kinds of decorative applications, both indoors and outdoors. It allows you to create a clear separation without completely closing off a space. For example, use it as a room divider in the home, a decorative garden wall, a partition between two terraces or an open wall underneath a veranda or covered patio. Breeze blocks can also be used in shops, restaurants, hotels and offices to separate spaces in a unique way. The open pattern also creates a beautiful interplay of light and shadow. As a result, the appearance of the wall changes throughout the day.

Breeze blocks are available in various colours and openwork patterns. The blocks measure 19 x 19 cm and are 6.5 cm thick. As Breeze blocks are made of concrete, small variations in colour, texture and dimensions may occur. These nuances are characteristic of the material. For the most uniform result possible, we recommend ordering the required quantity for one project at the same time.

Ordering, delivery and collection

Breeze blocks are supplied in boxes of 4. One box covers approximately 0.16 m², depending on the chosen joint width and installation method. If you need help calculating the required quantity, professional advice or a customised quote, our team will be happy to assist you at one of our showrooms. Orders can be delivered to your home by our transport partner. Delivery costs are calculated based on weight and volume and will be included in the quotation where applicable. Alternatively, you can collect your tiles from our warehouse in Breda or from our showroom in Utrecht. Collection is by appointment only and subject to availability. Maintenance

Breeze blocks are low-maintenance. The factory treatment helps protect the surface against water, mould and moss, but cannot completely prevent dirt or green deposits from developing over time when used outdoors. For regular maintenance, clean the blocks with clean water and, if necessary, a soft brush. Do not use aggressive, acidic or highly chemical cleaning products, as these can damage the concrete and its protective treatment. Be careful when using a pressure washer as well. A powerful water jet can damage the open structure and surface of the concrete or make it rougher, which can actually make it easier for dirt to adhere. By removing dirt and green deposits in good time and preventing prolonged contact with standing water, your Breeze blocks will remain beautiful for as long as possible.
