Our handmade tile products are largely produced in different colour batches. This means that the stock we have in our warehouse today may differ from a new shipment and could result in colour differences when placed together. It is mainly for this reason that we have an adjusted returns policy and hope for your understanding.
We recommend that you carefully calculate the tiles/products you need and/or carefully check the quote/drawing provided. To avoid misunderstandings and unpleasant experiences, we would like to inform you about this in detail.
What do we and don't we accept for returns?
It is important to us to inform you properly about our products and the associated returns policy. We therefore let you know in advance which category your chosen products fall into. This way you can make a well-considered decision about whether you want to order these products. When your order contains products that cannot be returned, we add a customised returns policy. With this we want to make you extra aware of the specific conditions that apply to these products.
Our goal is to offer clarity and transparency, so that you know exactly where you stand. We would like to explicitly point out that by agreeing to our quote, you automatically agree to our returns policy. This helps us prevent any misunderstandings and ensures that your order proceeds smoothly and in accordance with the agreements.
Tiles from our standard collection
Tiles that we carry in our standard range, mostly machine-produced and insensitive to batch differences, and for which we hold stock, can be returned in unopened boxes. This is necessary to guarantee the quality of our products and to be able to offer them again. For returned tiles you will always receive a store credit to the value of the returned products.
Please note: it is important to know that we will in no case refund money for returned tiles.
Custom made or made-to-order
Products that are specially made to measure for you, or products that we order exclusively for you, unfortunately cannot be returned. In addition, it is not possible to exchange these made-to-order products for other items from our range. It is therefore important that you make a well-considered choice.
To help you with this, we recommend that you always order a sample in advance or come to view the product in one of our showrooms. This gives you the opportunity to see the product in person, assess the colour and texture and be sure that it meets your expectations.
Please note: If you need additional tiles at a later stage, there is a possibility that these may show slight colour differences compared to the tiles you already have. It is therefore important to carefully calculate in advance how many tiles you need, so that you can order enough in one go and avoid such differences.
Warranty conditions
Many of our tiles are made entirely by hand and in a craftsmanlike manner. As a result, each tile is unique and authentic. Slight deviations in colour, shape, structure and pattern are inherent to the production process and the materials used. These natural variations should be regarded as normal and do not constitute grounds for complaint. It is precisely these characteristics that give our tiles their special, characterful and unique appearance.
For an optimal end result, we recommend always following the correct installation and maintenance guide when laying and maintaining our tiles. The correct processing and maintenance instructions vary per tile type. You can easily find these on the relevant product page and on the Tile Documentation page on our website.
